PAPER ON DILATED CARDIOMYOPATHY (DCM) PUBLISHED IN eLIFE
Our new crystal structures of protein kinase A (PKA) in complex with wild type and DCM mutant phospholamban (PLN) has been published in eLife. It reveals a common mechanism for familial dilated cardiomyopathy. This work is led by PhD student Juan Qin with a team effort from PhD student Lianyun Lin and collaborators from CAS, TJU, and UBC.

PAPER ON MOA OF DIAMIDE INSECTICIDES OUT IN NATURE CHEMICAL BIOLOGY
Our new cyro-EM structure of RyR-chlorantraniliprole complex has been published in Nature Chemical Biology. It reveals the binding mode and resistance mechanism of the top-selling diamide insecticides. This is a great teamwork achievement by scientists from China, Canada, Japan, Germany, and the Netherland.

TWO NEW PAPERS OUT IN JAFC AND SELECTED AS ACS EDITOR’S CHOICE
Our recent two papers on dimondback moth RyR, led by master students Yuanyuan Zhou and Arthur Samurkas, have been published in the Journal of Agricultural and Food Chemistry, and selected as American Chemical Society (ACS) editor’s choice .

INSECT RYR PAPERS OUT IN BMC BIOLOGY AND PMS
Our recent two studies on the crystal structure of insect RyR phosphorylation domain and modelling of insect RyR led by master student Tong Xu and PhD students Lianyun Lin and Zhiyuan Hao have been published in BMC Biology and PMS. TJU website reports our discovery in green pesticide development.
